In 2025, Facebook (Meta) has completely changed how Pages interact with Groups.
Earlier, Page admins could easily post or comment in groups, but now Meta requires Pages to be linked through Meta Business Suite and the New Pages Experience (NPE) system.
If your Page — like The Beautiful Mind — doesn’t show the option to post in a group or link to one, it means Facebook is waiting for you to activate your Page’s eligibility and connect it to a Business Portfolio.
This detailed guide explains every step to unlock Page-Group posting permissions and how to fix the missing “Linked Pages” or “Groups” option in 2025.
Facebook introduced several permission layers to improve transparency and security.
Now, a Page can only post or comment in a group if:
The Page runs on the New Pages Experience (NPE),
The Page is linked to a Meta Business Portfolio,
The Page has a verified Admin with Full Control, and
The Group allows Profiles and Pages to participate.
If any of these are missing, the “post as Page” feature disappears.
Older Pages show a “Manage Page” label and don’t support direct group posting.
Modern Pages display “Switch to profile” on the top bar.
They work with Meta Business Suite and can post in groups once connected.
Log in with your Facebook account.
Click Create Business Account → Name it after your Page (e.g., The Beautiful Mind).
Go to Settings → Accounts → Pages → Add Page → choose your Page.
You’ll now have a Business Portfolio that manages your Page.
This step gives Meta a verified connection to allow Page-Group linking later.
In Business Settings → People → Balvinder Singh (you):
Ensure you have Full Control: Everything for your Business Portfolio.
Your Page should appear under Assigned Assets → Pages with Full Control enabled.
Without this, Facebook hides “Linked Groups” options.
Open your Page → click Settings (⚙️) → Scroll to New Pages Experience → Page Access.
Ensure your name shows as Full Control.
If not visible yet, wait 24–48 hours — Meta rolls it out gradually for newly created Pages.
After activation, follow these steps:
Go to Meta Business Suite → All Tools → Groups.
Click Link Group.
Select the group (e.g., HAASA !! (Jokes & Stories) -- by BISON).
Approve the connection inside the group.
Toggle Allow Page to post and comment → ✅ ON.
Now your Page will appear in the group’s post composer identity list.
If you can’t see “Groups” in Business Suite:
Ensure your Page has at least 10–30 followers.
Post 3–5 times within 7 days.
Add a profile + cover image.
Connect Instagram or WhatsApp under Settings → Linked Accounts.
These actions signal Meta that your Page is active.
Once done, the “Groups” and “Page Access” tabs appear automatically.
Go to your group → in the post box, click your profile photo (top-right).
You’ll see two options:
Your personal profile (Balvinder Singh)
Your Page (The Beautiful Mind)
Select your Page → write a post → click “Post.”
If it says “Posted by The Beautiful Mind”, you’ve successfully enabled Page posting ?.
Meta restricts Pages from posting directly in public groups over 100k members unless the group is officially linked.
If your group is large (like HAASA !!), your Page can join and comment only after the admin enables Linked Page Posting in the group’s settings.
✅ Page converted to New Pages Experience
✅ Page added to a Meta Business Portfolio
✅ Admin (Balvinder Singh) has full control
✅ Page active (posts, followers, cover, bio)
✅ Wait 24–48 hours for eligibility refresh
✅ Link Group via Business Suite
✅ Approve connection inside the group
✅ Post as Page
Once all checked, your Page will have full group posting rights permanently.
In 2025, Meta requires an extra layer of Page authentication before allowing group posting.
By linking your Page through Meta Business Suite, granting full access, and maintaining Page activity, you can easily unlock this feature.
For creators, community leaders, and brands — especially Pages like The Beautiful Mind — this process ensures better visibility, credibility, and cross-platform control.
