At exactly what point does the MAV occur?

If it occurs while loading one company, investigate the company data.

If it occurs while printing, investigate the printer driver.

If it occurs immediately during startup, investigate the printer subsystem, automatically loaded company and TDLs.

If every company is affected, investigate the Tally installation and Windows environment.

If the same company fails on multiple computers, data corruption becomes significantly more likely.

A safe troubleshooting approach is therefore:

Backup first → isolate the trigger → repair only when appropriate → verify the repaired accounting data → investigate system hardware if corruption returns.

Most importantly, never experiment directly on the only copy of production Tally data.
