Online Closure Process

You can easily close your account using the Kotak Neo App or the Kotak Securities website. Here’s how:

Using the NEO App:

1. Log in to the Neo App.
2. Click on the Profile Option (displayed with the initials of your name).
3. Select Services.
4. Choose Service Request and then click on Account Closure.

Using the Website:

1. Visit www.kotaksecurities.com and log in to your Kotak Neo account.
2. After logging in, click on Help (located on the header banner).
3. Select Service Request and then Account Closure.

Submitting Your Account Closure Request

Once you are on the account closure page, follow these steps:

1. Enter your Mobile Number and Email ID.
2. Review the conditions that must be fulfilled for an online closure request.
3. The Account Closure type will be selected by default based on your securities/holdings.
4. Provide your consent for FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act).
5. Click on Submit.
6. Confirm your request by selecting Yes or No.

After submitting your request, it will take approximately 3 working days to process.

Alternative Closure Method

If you prefer not to use the online method, you can request account closure via email. Please send an email from your registered email ID with the following format:
